Why Narconon Drug Rehab is dangerous
Narconon, a subsidiary of detoxification of the Church of Scientology operates nearly 200 facilities treatment throughout the world, and in addition to this substantial investment in physical, they also maintain a web presence very impressive, and most of the information on offer on the first page of Google on all topics related to addiction or just Narconon related rehabs.
And it's scary because that what they say seems so sensible and reasonable, and only with further research do you find how unfounded are their treatment, how their practices unchecked, the little they are taught by professional real addiction, and how their method of detoxification can even be dangerous.
Narconon, Scientology Although, no real science!
The philosophy of treatment is Narconon verbatim the written and the work of Scientology founder, L. Ron Hubbard, a man who misrepresented his credentials scientific and apparently had a little real scientific understanding (science wrong Narconon drug rehabs). And although groups like the AMA questioned practices at the centers treatment as dangerous, advocates defend their Narconon pseudoscience with religious fervor.
No medicine — a dangerous philosophy

The drugs that people can create high-dependency, not psychotropic drugs are generally not, and just because someone has a problem with a dependence on a psychoactive drug does not prevent them from benefit from modern medical science.
This policy may even be dangerous, and there are certain drugs such as alcohol, benzodiazepines and other CNS depressants that can create symptoms of withdrawal during detoxification dangerous if left non-medicated. Treatment addiction to alcohol is easy, a small dose of a CNS depressant drug treatment can make completely secure and comfortable but you will not get even that basic medical care in a detoxification of Narconon.
Patients checking into a rehab drug is very commonly have a dual diagnosis of a disorder measures (depression, anxiety, etc.) and although they may be managed by appropriate medication, Narconon, saunas have to do instead.
Get help that will really help
Problems with Narconon are many, and they really do not give a fair chance to any sobriety. Their programs are based on a dangerous pseudoscience and methods and sometimes absurd. If you need detox, you owe it to yourself to do some research and make sure check into a hotel that offers scientifically proven therapies and therapeutic.
